Turner Industries Group is looking for a Project Accountant to join our team in the Corpus Christi, TX area.
General Job Description:
The overall purpose of the Project Accountant position is to assist Project Management, Field Personnel and Accounting Management to ensure invoicing on each project is handled in an accurate, efficient, and professional manner.
Functional Requirements:
Prepare and submit to our clients, detailed and accurate invoices of reimbursable costs associated with maintenance and construction projects.
Effectively communicate and work closely with other departments, field personnel and client representatives to adequately compile invoicing information and problem resolution.
Work well with other Project Billing Analysts and offer assistance when a co-worker's workload deems necessary.
Any other free time will be filled with special projects such as client audits, system conversions, etc.
Prepare detailed and accurate month end accruals (when necessary) and is responsible to efficiently research, report, and explain any billing transactions to Accounting Management.
Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
Qualification Standards:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Business
Self-motivated, problem-solving, mentor, communication, time management
Extensive technical skills Microsoft Word, Excel, ReportsNow, etc.
Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace
Physical Involvement:

• Location: office environment with occasional jobsite visits
• Mobility Barriers to Access Job Site: uneven ground level; obstructed pathways; work performed at low and/or high elevations; work performed in confined areas
• Climatic/Environmental Conditions at Job Site: predominately outdoor climate; may be exposed to extreme hot or cold weather, excessive humidity, rain, etc.
; various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, etc.
; potential exposure to chemical substances
