Responsibilities: - Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports - Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards - Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning - Process payroll and maintain employee records - Handle tax preparation and filing - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial goals are met - Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in accounting practices Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of Xero and QuickBooks accounting software - Familiarity with debits, credits, and general ledger functions - Experience in public accounting is a plus - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills - Knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations - Understanding of financial acumen and ability to interpret financial data - Familiarity with wills, trusts, and estate law is a plus - Solid understanding of financial accounting principles We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for professional growth.
