Attendance
Non-rotating 40-hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; must be available to work additional hours as needed.

Overview
The Intern will assist the Audit staff on conducting audit engagements and perform other office duties.
Responsibilities
· Obtain data, timely perform assigned test/analysis, and document audit work in workpapers prescribed in the audit guide
· Carefully and discretely handle confidential records
· Timely manage and complete assignments
· Perform administrative duties to support operations such as preparations for meetings, take meeting notes, research, attend training, and correspond with internal and external departments
· Organize physical and digital records and assist Audit staff as needed
· May be subject to travel within the Corpus Christi area
· May be asked to perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Requires a minimum of two (2) years of college and applicants must be currently enrolled.
Students in their junior or senior year of undergrade or graduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or similar field
· A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.

· Selected applicants must be able to pass a background investigation and a pre-employment drug test.
