Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Clerk.
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely payments from clients, and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties: - Process and post invoices, credit memos, and cash receipts - Review and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy - Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or billing issues - Contact clients to collect outstanding payments - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing regulations and requirements - Prepare and distribute monthly statements to customers - Assist with month-end closing activities - Collaborate with other departments to resolve any billing-related inquiries or concerns Skills: - Proficiency in Foundation for Construction for similar accounting software - Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding payment terms - Experience with Sage or other financial management systems - Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills - Knowledge of governmental accounting practices (preferred) - Understanding of financial services, including accounts payable processes If you are a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for the position of Accounts Receivable Clerk.
