Senior Accountant

*Roles and Responsibilities* · Oversee the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
· Ensure that all accounting entries are accurate and in compliance with GAAP.
· Maintain the general ledger including account reconciliations and journal entries.
· Prepare and review budgets, forecasts and financial models.
· Provide financial analysis and guidance to management for decision making.
· Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
· Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
· Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
· Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
· Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
*Desired Candidate Profile* · Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance · CPA or CMA certification preferred.
· Minimum 2- 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
· Experience in public accounting and/or audit is a plus.
· Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and tax regulations.
· Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
