Accounting Associate

The Accounting Department at the Coastal Bend Blood Center has an available full-time job opening for the position of Accounting Associate.
This is a non-exempt position that will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
*Responsibilities:* This position will be responsible for monitoring the outflow of capital for the Blood Center and assist in ensuring that the company receive payment for goods and services.
Responsible for general accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
*Education and/or Experience:* A college degree in Business or Accounting is preferred.
Two years of accounting or booking experience is required.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* This position requires strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite as well as other accounting software programs, strong clerical, verbal & written skills, ability to handle multiple projects, and must be able to work well with all staff levels.
Must possess exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
Must have a Current Texas Driver’s License with Clean Driving Record.
