Job Summary: Leadership/Team Management Assign tasks to welders and other team members Foster a positive work environment, and promote teamwork Monitor the progress of welding projects as needed Provide guidance, direction, and leadership Educational Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Technical Training and Certification Optional Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Work Experience Minimum work experience in welding and fabrication 10 years Supervisory or Management Experience minimum 5 years Duties/Responsibilities Coordinate with other departments Ensure welding procedures are followed consistently Manage day-to-day welding operations Monitor productivity and efficiency Address any quality issues Reporting/Documentation Generate reports as required Maintain accurate records and documentation Safety/Compliance Ensure compliance with safety regulations Promote safety awareness Abilities/Skills A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality Deep understanding of safety protocols, and regulations Effective communication skills Knowledge of various welding methods Strong leadership and management skills Strong problem-solving skills Team building/motivation skills Understanding the business aspects of welding operations Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated Other Criteria: Complies with Strike’s policies and procedures Complies with Strike’s Drug & Alcohol Policy maintaining favorable drug testing results throughout employment Performs job safely with respect to others, property and individual safety Works effectively with others to encourage teamwork and productivity Authorized to work in the United States Strike is an Equal Opportunity Employer fjsASlL21B
