Job Title: Account Manager - Pressure Management & Isolation Valves
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the establishment, maintenance and growth of professional business relationships with customers in selected accounts who influence the selection of technology, products and services for actuation related products.
Prospects, qualifies, develops, and closes potential new customer accounts and sales opportunities.
Maintains a high degree of product and application knowledge.
Maintains a high degree of industry knowledge and awareness, including; trends, technology advancement, significant accomplishments by others in the business, state of the competition, significant events related to our business and the customers’ businesses.
Maintains comprehensive customer support with a primary base on customer retention.
Establishes relationships, builds rapport to assist with influencing customer preference and specifications to include actuation products and services.
Collaborates within account teams as required to develop and implement the strategy for the Account Plan.
Works with multiple departments and support staff to provide customer solutions quickly and efficiently.
Completes monthly sales reports and other required correspondence in a timely and effective manner.
Manage customer expectations relative to deliverables and timeframes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Knowledge:
BS/BA degree required, engineering or associated technical degree preferred.
Strong knowledge of process industry applications, operations and technology, particularly focused on pressure management equipment and on/off valve actuation and controls products.
Experience/Skills:
A minimum of 5 plus years proven outside sales experience in the process control industry.
Excellent network of current industry contacts is preferred.
3-5 years’ experience calling on Downstream End Users and Engineering Contractors.
