Department: Sales & Marketing Supervisor: Director, Business Development Classification: Full Time/Exempt Summary This position will assist the Director of Business Development in all areas of Sponsorship Fulfillment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Work with Finance and Business Development department to keep record of all Sponsor contracts, Sponsor invoicing/scheduling, and payment processing.
Communicate with and assist Ticket Office in fulfillment of season tickets, group tickets and hospitality areas that are in Sponsorship Contracts.
Ensure all Sponsor hospitality orders are accurate, submitted in a timely fashion, and communicated with Concessionaire.
Coordinate with Business Development sales staff to schedule and execute sponsor concourse tables and sponsor plaza displays.
Work Hooks game nights and other Hooks functions as assigned to execute and monitor sponsor promotions and activities.
Serve as an asset to Business Development Director & Account Executives on day-to-day partnership proposals, implementation, and maintenance.
Participate in sales meetings, pitches and general sales experiences.
Play an essential role in databasing images, activations, branding, and events, etc.
for use in preparing and presenting inclusive sponsor recaps to key decision makers during the contract renewal process.
Collect and file Sponsorship proof of performance elements design and help execute Sponsor proof of performance presentations with Business Development team.
Assist with special events such as Astros Caravan, South Texas Winter Baseball Banquet, Suite Holders Luncheon, Season Member Pick Up, etc.
Coordinating giveaway quantities with promotional staff.
Genuinely passionate about providing an outstanding level of customer service.
Participating in off-season events, i.
e.
, high school baseball, college baseball, special events, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Sports Management / Marketing / Business Major/Degree preferred Excellent customer service Strong management & organizational skills Strong personnel management, collaboration, communication, time management and organizational skills.
Proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Proficient to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
General knowledge of office skills, use of office equipment (copier, laser printers, fax machine, telephones, computers).
High degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
High level of professionalism.
Strong ability and desire to work with others in a collaborative, respectful manner.
Ability to be flexible and work long hours, evenings, weekends and holidays including all 70 Hooks home games plus special events.
Work Environment This job operates in an office setting.
The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers.
The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is a largely sedentary role.
Specific vision abilities required by this job included close and focused vision.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Ability to work a flexible schedule, including; extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Travel Rare travel may be expected in this role.
