Job Summary:
This position provides a high level of customer service support with product expertise and advanced selling skills.
They use both experience and knowledge to build customer relationships and drive sales.
Experts ask the customer questions to determine their needs and engage the customer with their product knowledge, suggest selling items for the customers immediate needs and recommend additional items and/or services that will complement the customers destination or boating experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and maintain sales plan to achieve department annual sales goal
Provide sales and technical knowledge for a specific department or product category
Educate and train store sales team on the products and their attributes in your department
Work with store team to grow wholesale business and market share through planning and goal setting
Provide Store sales teams with qualifying questions to assist customers in your department
Ensure all signage, sales events and promotional material is current and displayed properly
Ensure you are representing the highest expression of our brand and the service we provide
Greet and receives customers in a welcoming manner
Respond to customers questions
Asks open ended questions to understand customers needs
Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
Directs customers by escorting then to the aisle or location of product
Help customer select the proper product
Inform customers about services available and assess customer needs
Assist customers with drop ship or special order purchases
Alerts management to potential security or loss prevention issues
Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
Process let downs as needed
Ensure all product locations are front, faced and replenished with available overstock
Keep aisle and sales floor neat, clean and organized
Remove any hazards or obstacles that may impede walking the aisles or sales floor
Understand buy online and pick up in store process
Assist with Buy on line ship from store process
Available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends and some holidays.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior boating and sales experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds to shoulder height unassisted.
