Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for national and regional home builders within the service area.
- Understand the unique needs and objectives of each account and develop tailored solutions to drive mutual success.
- Proactively identify opportunities for account expansion.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic account plans that align with overall company objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Develop and execute initiatives to drive revenue growth and market share within assigned accounts.
Sales and Performance Management:
- Set and achieve sales targets and KPIs for interior doors, trim, and stairs ensuring consistent growth and profitability.
- Monitor sales performance, track progress against targets, and provide regular reports and insights to management.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of account strategies and determine capacity constraints.
- Lead negotiations with key accounts to establish pricing structures, contract terms, and other relevant agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and contract terms.
- Conduct thorough analysis of market conditions, competitor pricing, and customer requirements to inform negotiation strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance profitability through strategic pricing adjustments and value-added services.
- Maintain accurate records of all negotiations and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with sales stores to set up and facilitate delivery and installation as well as train staff to utilize customer online portals.

Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations, including executives, buyers, and decision-makers.
- Act as a strategic advisor to customers, providing insights, recommendations, and solutions to address their business needs.
- Resolve any issues or concerns promptly and effectively, maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Market Analysis and Insights:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats.
- Conduct regular market analysis and gather customer feedback to inform product development and strategic decision-making.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize account performance and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 Years industry experience in Single and/or Multi-Family Construction, Building Materials distribution and sales or relevant experience.
- Proven track record of success in Account Management or Sales.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategic plans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Willingness to travel.
