Position Description
*POSITION DETAIL AND SCOPE *
*Position Title: *Communications and Engagement Coordinator
*Reports to: *CEO
*Job Family: *Support
*Salary Range:* $42,500 - $50,000
*Purpose of Position:*
To ensure internal and external stakeholders are kept informed and engaged in CCAR activities and initiatives.
*Number of direct reports: *0
*Total number of employees: *7
*Exempt/Non-Exempt: *Exempt
*Describe internal scoping factors: *
* Develop and implement internal and external communications strategies
* Serve as Staff Liaison to the Kleberg, San Patricio, and Jim Wells Engagement Committees
* Travel and attend evening and related meetings as needed
*Responsibilities: *
* Serve in a support role, working with various departments to determine communications needs.
* Develop a comprehensive communications plan utilizing various communications platforms such as email, text, social media, etc.
This plan should include goals to reach internal members as well as external stakeholders in accordance with the organization's strategic plan and budget.
* Implement and manage the execution of the communications plan.
* Create communications collateral.
* Monitor communications from the National and State Association of REALTORS and integrate relevant communication into CCAR's communications plan.
* Monitor communications from other industry stakeholders on the local, state, or national level and integrate relevant communication into CCAR's communications plan.
* Plan agendas, record minutes, and liaise with various member engagement committees including those in Kingsville, Alice, and Portland.
* Manage the organizations social media platforms, fostering reach and engagement.
* Provide MLS customer support as-needed.
* Perform other tasks related to the job as assigned.
*EDUCATION REQUIRED*
BA in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or Public Relations preferred.
*EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED*

Excellent communication skills, written, spoken and personal interaction with members, the media, and staff

Proficiency in Microsoft office applications

Well organized and self-directed

Ability to communicate and engage with members
5.
Management for project coordination
6.
Highly motivated, with ability to manage multi projects
7.
Capable of budgeting, planning and producing within budget
8.
Experience with mass email and social media platforms
9.
Experience with design platforms such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
10.
Real Estate and/or MLS experience is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,500.
00 - $50,000.
