Sales Associate

The Texas State Aquarium provides high quality, entertaining programming through education, conservation, and wildlife rehabilitation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintain accurate records of visits to local hotels and businesses visited to promote ticket sales.
Conduct offsite sales visits to promote and sell tickets and exclusive encounters.
Research new trends in corporate and hotel markets to maintain a competitive edge with other local venues.
Continually reach out to new prospects with emails, and phone calls to generate additional revenue.
Ensure flexibility in schedule for client meetings.
Follow up on all sales accounts and leads by personal contact for sales presentations, both by phone and in writing.
QUALIFICATIONS: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
