Job Description: E-Commerce Website Coordinator
Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Webmaster is the effective management of all Company websites and their maintenance and ongoing performance.
Major Responsibilities:
The major responsibilities for this position include:
Coordinate product lines, departments, SKUs, images, descriptions, pricing, shipping costs for website e-commerce website.
Publish new merchandise and remove old merchandise from the site.
Elevate and maintain imagery on website including photographs, swatches, and banners.
Update and maintain product descriptions on the website.
Process and ship online orders.
Handle all online returns and exchanges.
Work with store managers to ensure promotions and website updates are implemented as needed.
Communicate with web development teams to address recurring issues.
Work closely with web professionals to update website, fixing website errors.
Strategize with upper management on ways to improve the companys website traffic.
Uploading and updating web pages.
Work closely with upper management personnel to identify web needs and improve users experience.
Monitor website traffic.
Minimum Requirements:
The minimum requirements for this position include:
Education/Training: High School degree or G.
E.
D.
equivalent, Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of management of a content management system, preferably Shopify
Detail oriented with exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in PC operating system
Self-starter attitude.
Image manipulation and web optimization experience using tools such as Photoshop is a plus, but not required.
Desire to learn Google Analytics.
Proficiency in Excel.
Time Management Skills.
Problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements
The minimum physical requirements of the position include:
Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures occasionally throughout the store, which entails lifting, climbing ladders and performs all functions as set forth by management.
Ability to perform prolonged sitting or standing (up to 11-12 hours a day), walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.
