The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative oversight for internal and external communications and publications; for marketing of programs and services including conducting market research and strategic planning; and for large scale event coordination and facilitation.
The position will be responsible for the following duties:
Maintain internal databases including contract management and client relationship systems
Conduct market research and analysis of current industry trends to continuously improve program areas and to develop a strategic marketing plan
Work with project leads and department directors to develop and monitor event budgets for and coordinate the efforts of staff in the planning and facilitation of conferences, large scale meetings, and other events for both internal staff, statewide networks, and external clients
Prioritize, provide oversight for, and coordinate multiple assigned projects in a fast-paced environment
Ensure design execution and publications (print and digital) exhibit exceptional and appropriate use of branding and fundamental design elements (including color, typography, layout, appropriate imagery and text, correct grammar), and represent the organization in a professional manner
Coordinate and participate in development and presentation of ideas and designs for print or digital media directly to internal and external clients
Maintain awareness of and address staff concerns and program needs as appropriate
Oversee the goal-setting and professional development process for direct reports
Directly supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel
Provide orientation and mentoring to new staff as appropriate
Perform other duties as assigned
