*SUMMARY OF DUTIES: * Acts as the primary store-level sales person to large format accounts such as supermarkets.
Is responsible for providing selling and merchandising service to and growing business in assigned accounts.
Position orders products to be delivery by another employee to the store.
Generates sales by selling to and servicing customers.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: * · Grow sales volume market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service in all assigned accounts.
· Take daily/weekly inventory, place orders for future delivery, and sell product inventory to standard.
· Sell and execute promotions, solicit placement of equipment and materials to stimulate sales.
· Maintain and increase shelf facings, clean shelves, and rotate products.
· Ensure that shelf-space is filled with product.
· Ensure that there is a back-stock of product to be merchandised on non-deliverable days.
· Meet with store manager(s) to discuss current and upcoming promotional activity.
· Be the main contact for customer issues at the store level.
· Provide excellent service to assigned accounts and create and maintain with all customers good communication, rapport building and attentiveness to customer needs, etc.
· Assist in product rotation when needed.
· Attend all scheduled mandatory meetings.
· Deliver product hot-shots or unscheduled deliveries at the request of store, when needed.
· Complete required paperwork in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
· Comply with operating procedures (e.
g.
, scan-in/scan-out, following designated routes, etc.
) · Use hand-held device to input/write orders.
· Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
· Follows all safety operations, and company vehicle and equipment policies.
· Performs other functions or duties as directed by management in line with the objectives of Oneta Company.
*MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE* · High school or GED equivalent · 6 months – 1 year of Sales or Merchandising experience, preferred.
· Business-to-business sales experience, preferred.
· Beverage industry (e.
g.
, segments, types of customers, competitors, trends, etc), preferred.
· Inventory management (e.
g.
, current stock, projected sales, ordering /re-stocking, etc), preferred.
*QUALIFICATIONS:* * Must be at least 21 years of age.
* Valid driver’s license.
* Must have a good driving record.
* Must pass pre-employment physical.
* Must pass pre-employment and random drug screening.
* Must pass criminal background checks.
* Must have a personal cell phone.
* Must have reliable personal transportation for work with required proof of insurance.
* Must be available to work weekends.
*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:* · Basic math skills.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Good planning and organizational skills.
· Time and people management skills.
· Good attention to detail.
· Ability to build and maintain working relationships with customers.
· Ability to problem solve order or inventory issues.
· Ability to handle pallet jacks, push carts and equipment at store.
· Ability to obtain forklift certification within 60 days of employment.
· Ability to drive box truck for deliveries.
· Ability to resolve issues to customer satisfaction.
· Ability to drive up to 300 miles in a day when needed.
· Ability to work safely and efficient around shoppers.
*WORKING AND ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS:* · Some office work required.
· Mostly out in the trade.
· Extreme hot and cold temperatures depending on weather and store environment.
· Very fast-paced and high customer activity/shopping.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $900.
