Job Description Summary
To provide management and technical assistance and information services to small businesses.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
Three (3) years of related experience in any combination of areas such as the following: consultant to small businesses in management or technical skills, staff member within a business/economic development organization, manager or a proprietor of a small business, or banking with commercial lending experience.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong knowledge of marketing.
Good knowledge of accounting.
Knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Office, and standard office equipment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work and take initiative without close supervision.
Ability to deal with a wide variety of individuals and organizations.
Confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.

To promote SBDC services, network with community organizations involved in small business and economic development.
Job Duty
Responsible for providing advising on all aspects of small business operations including marketing, management, financing, accounting, personnel, etc.
with special emphasis on financing small businesses.
Maintain data in the SBDC Neoserra Program.
Job Duty
Assist in the development and implementation of training events and workshops.
Additionally, assist with new advisor orientation, advising accreditation monitoring and implementation support.
Fostering an area of expertise.
